This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies in addition to SoluForge’s SaaS Terms for the Craftifact service. It is a binding part of the contractual relationship between SoluForge and the Customer.
1. Purpose and scope
Craftifact is a B2B service for managing and delivering artifacts.
This AUP serves to:
- prevent abuse,
- ensure stable and secure operations,
- comply with legal and contractual requirements.
It applies to all Customers and all persons authorized by the Customer to use Craftifact.
Users for the purposes of this AUP are natural persons authorized by the Customer to use Craftifact.
2. Prohibited use
The Customer must not use Craftifact, in particular, to:
2.1 Unlawful content
store, process, or distribute unlawful content, in particular:
- criminal content,
- content that infringes third-party rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets),
- unlawful publication of personal data.
2.2 Malware and attacks
distribute malware or carry out security attacks, in particular:
- malware, exploits, trojans,
- crypto-mining without express approval,
- unauthorized scans or attacks on third-party systems.
2.3 Overload and circumvention of safeguards
deliberately overload the Service or circumvent security mechanisms, in particular:
- denial-of-service attacks,
- circumvention of rate limits,
- automated bulk access outside the intended use.
Automated access is permitted within the intended interfaces and configurations (e.g., CI/CD, robot accounts), provided it complies with documented usage limits and configurations.
2.4 Security testing without approval
perform security testing of the Service (e.g., penetration tests, load tests) without prior express approval in text form by SoluForge.
2.5 Unauthorized provision
provide Craftifact as a standalone service to third parties outside the Customer’s organization unless explicitly agreed in the contract.
3. Customer obligations
3.1 The Customer ensures that all Users comply with this AUP.
3.2 The Customer reports security incidents, vulnerabilities, or abuse without undue delay to:
3.3 The Customer is liable for violations of this AUP by its Users as for its own conduct.
4. Notice-and-action (reporting, measures, suspension)
4.1 SoluForge is not obliged to proactively monitor Customer data or usage.
4.2 Where there are concrete indications of violations of this AUP or security risks, SoluForge may take proportionate measures, in particular:
- blocking or removing affected content,
- restricting or temporarily suspending access,
- technical isolation of individual Users or Tenants.
4.3 Measures are taken with due regard to the severity, urgency, and impact of the violation.
4.4 SoluForge will inform the Customer of measures taken, insofar as legally permissible and security-appropriate.
4.5 In the event of repeated or serious violations, SoluForge reserves the right to take further measures under the SaaS Terms, including temporary or permanent suspension of access.
4.6 SoluForge cooperates with competent authorities to the extent required by law.
5. Relationship to other contract documents
In case of conflicts between this AUP and the SaaS Terms, the SaaS Terms take precedence.
6. International use
This AUP applies internationally and is intended for business customers worldwide, insofar as no mandatory legal provisions apply.
